Top Agent | Tiburon / Belvedere Real Estate | April 2016 Home Sales Update | Pacific Union

Top Agent | Tiburon / Belvedere Home Sales & Real Estate Market Report | April 2016 | Pacific Union International. The March 2016 sales numbers (he had just 9 sales)  for Tiburon and Belvedere slipped compared to the same month in 2015 (we had 14 sales in March of 2015). This drop is likely due to a combination of increased prices and a lackluster 2015 and beginning to 2016 in the financial markets. Nonetheless, the Tiburon Peninsula is one of the San Francisco Bay Area’s most desirable luxury home enclaves — a location highly affluent buyers covet. Because it is located in Marin County with often incredible views and is minutes from the Golden Gate Bridge, Tiburon and Belvedere consistently post some of the highest average prices in the nation. On the Tiburon Peninsula, homes priced below $2 million are generally considered entry level. In fact, homes under $2 million are somewhat rare and always receive lots of buyer interest. Stepping up into the $2 million to $5 million price range, which is our bread and butter price point, you will find the majority of sales activity — there were 2 such sales in March 2016. Above that, in the ultra-luxury market (above $5 million), there were 2 sales. Although there are number of homes in this ultra-luxury market sector for sale (there are currently 15 listings), these homes often take a long time to trade.
