Tiburon / Belvedere Home Sales & Real Estate Market Report | March 2015 | Pacific Union International. The slow sales environment continued in February 2015 for Tiburon and Belvedere, CA. — just 7 homes sold. As those familiar with Marin County know, the Tiburon peninsula is one of the area’s most coveted luxury home enclaves as it sits just across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco. Because of this proximity and extraordinary natural beauty, it consistenly posts some of the highest prices in Marin County (or the state, for that matter). On the Tiburon Peninsula, homes priced below $2 million are generally considered entry level. In fact, homes under $2 million are quite rare and elicit a great deal of attention (only 1 of such homes sold in February 2015). Stepping up into the $2 million to $5 million price range, which is our bread and butter price point, we are seeing the majority of activity — there were 5 such sales in February 2015. Above that, in the ultra-luxury market (above $5 million), there was just one sale, although there are number of homes in that ultra-luxury market sector for sale (there are currently nearly 20 such homes for sale).
